Rescue Boxers at Shadow Ridge

"A good man takes care of his animals, but wicked men are cruel to theirs." Proverbs 12:10.

We always hope that any commitment to boxer ownership is born out of a deep love for the Boxer breed and a desire to protect him from suffering, neglect, abuse, or abandonment. We have dedicate ourselves to insuring that the dogs whelped in our program or any other canine that needs our help can get the second chance they deserve and never find themselves lost, alone, or abused again. Our commitment is a lifetime of love.

Rosie- Rescued August 2010

Rosie was found on the side of the road in Olive Branch, malnutritioned from just having a litter of puppies. Sadly none of the puppies were found. Someone was gracious enough to pick her up and take her to the vet where she began her road to recovery and a forever home. She was taken into a foster home when she became strong enough. We were lucky enough to be contracted in the search to find her a forever home. We contacted some freinds that had been looking for a boxer. We all met at the foster family to meet Rosie for the first time. She was beyond words. Such spunk and lovingness for a baby that had been thrown to the wayside. Our friends fell in love with Rosie immediately and ther wasn't a doubt in their minds that Rosie was going home with them. It was a great evening for all of us. Tears were shed and stories shared about our experiences of being Boxer families. Today Rosie is doing better than ever. She is a little mischievious but hey what Boxer isn't. She is 100% Boxer in every way imaginable. Thanks to Brian and Jen Sigler of Hernando MS for giving Rosie a FOREVER HOME!! We love you ROSIE!

Redd- Rescued August 12, 2010

Redd was placed with a new family in August!!

We fostered REDD for a very short time and now he has new parents. He will soon be 2 years old and is FULL of ENERGY!! His previous owners dropped him off at a local vet to kennel him and never returned to pick him up. He was up to date on all his shots, rabies vacinated ,heartworm negative and was neutered before he was re-homed. He left us weighing in at 63 lbs.
